Originally established as a thriving sugar exporter and a haven for retired Civil War veterans, the town was officially incorporated in 1911 as a “soldier’s colony,” earning it the affectionate nickname of the “soldier city.”

Founded in 2002, originally known as Homepride Realty has proudly served the residents and newcomers of Osceola County for over 21 years. Specializing in comprehensive residential real estate services, particularly in the St. Cloud area, Homepride recognizes the paramount importance of honesty, fairness, and above all, unwavering advocacy on behalf of our clients. Homepride began its journey in a modest one-room suite within a Kissimmee office building. Through our unwavering commitment to putting our customers first, we have experienced significant growth, thanks to referrals from satisfied clients and the adoption of cutting-edge marketing strategies.

Over 2 decades ago, Steven Pugh, driven by his deep affection for the St. Cloud community, led our relocation to a free-standing building adjacent to St. Cloud City Hall in the heart of downtown St. Cloud. We take immense pride in our active involvement within the community, proudly serving as members of the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce and the St. Cloud Main Street Program. We are deeply connected to the heartbeat of the city and are genuinely excited about the future of St. Cloud and its residents.

Towards the end of 2021, our team made the strategic decision to join forces with eXp Realty. Aligned with like-minded individuals and attracted by the opportunities for growth and access to state-of-the-art client support, we embarked on this exciting journey. We expanded our branch office, bringing together approximately 40 agents serving Central Florida, and today, we proudly operate under the name Homepride Group at eXp Realty.

In 2022, our branch office achieved a remarkable Sales Volume of over 90 million dollars, solidifying our position as a leading force in the real estate market. We also earned the prestigious title of #1 Team in Osceola County for the 2nd Quarter of 2023, a testament to our dedication and commitment to excellence.

As of mid-2023, in response to our rapid growth, we have relocated to a more spacious office while remaining in the heart of Downtown St. Cloud, just off Pennsylvania Ave. This move allows us to better accommodate our expanding team and continue providing top-tier real estate services to our valued clients.
